Three men stabbed in three separate attacks
Police are investigating three separate stabbings yesterday.
At about 1.30pm, police were called to licensed premises at Shoal Bay, north of Sydney, following reports of an armed robbery committed by a man wearing a motorcycle helmet.
As he left with the cash a 24-year-old male employee approached the man and was stabbed in the face.
The man fled the scene and is still on the run.
At around 6pm, two men got into a fight on Graceades Place at Bidwill.
A 30-year-old man was stabbed twice, in the arm and the hip, but managed to flee and call police.
Officers arrested a 22-year-old man nearby.
At around 8.45pm, an ambulance was flagged down by five men in Sydney’s west.
They led paramedics to Springfield Park at Old Guildford where their friend had been stabbed in the torso.
The 19-year-old had allegedly been approached by an islander looking man who demanded his phone before attacking him.
The teen was rushed to hospital and has undergone surgery.
