A devastated West Australian has spoken out against Mark McGowan’s decision to indefinitely delay the border reopening.

The announcement came just three weeks out from the expected reopening date of February 5, with 88 per cent of the WA population aged over 12 double vaccinated.

Perth listener Kerry has finally found her birth father but now can’t go to South Australia to meet him.

She told Ray Hadley she’s “devastated”.

“It’s taken me 30 years to find him.

“Time is running out, Ray. I’m in my 50s, he’s in his late 70s.”
