Health Minister Greg Hunt says he needs to focus on his family as he announces his retirement from politics.

The Minister will not recontest his seat of Flinders at the upcoming federal election.

Minister Hunt told Ben Fordham “it’s time”.

“You’re only ever a part-time parent if you’re a parliamentarian.

“Ultimately, on my death bed, I’ll be defined by my family.”
