NRL CEO Todd Greenberg will meet with Sam Burgess next week over the prop’s comments criticising the NRL judiciary.

Burgess called the judiciary a “kangaroo court” after he served a one-match suspension for hair pulling.

He will now meet with Todd Greenberg, where he must show cause as to why he shouldn’t be issued with a breach notice over the comments.

Mr Greenberg tells Ben Fordham he’s already spoken to Burgess on the phone.

“I always get a bit concerned when comments come through from players or officials that call on the integrity of some of the independent people that serve the game.

“It didn’t please me at all… he’ll need to give me the context of those discussions.”
