The state’s Transport Minister is assuring northern beaches residents a Beaches Link will be built.

The future of the tunnel looks uncertain with Premier Dominic Perrottet reportedly lacking enthusiasm for the project and Labor pledging to scrap it if it gets into power.

Minister Rob Stokes told Ben Fordham the government will keep its promises.

“It was a road that should have been built 40 years ago but wasn’t.”
