Two men on the run after Warwick Farm murder
Two men are on the run after shooting and killing a man in Sydney’s south-west.
At about 5.20pm on Sunday police arrived at a unit block on the corner of George Street and Lachlan Street at Warwick Farm.
They found a 46-year-old man who had been shot in the back.
He was rushed around the corner to nearby Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition, but later died.
Officers have been told two men, one armed with a firearm, knocked on the front door of the unit before entering and shooting the man.
The apartment block remains cordoned off as forensic officers comb over the scene.

Police believe the incident was targeted and Homicide Squad detectives are speaking with several witnesses as they piece together the moments before and after the shooting.
The shooter is still at large with investigators searching through CCTV cameras to determine whether the killer fled the scene on foot or in a car.
