Aussie comedian Rob Shehadie has revealed he has been tapped on the shoulder to join politics.

Labelling himself the “unofficial mayor of Parramatta”, the actor revealed he’s been approached for a political gig.

“I don’t like the idea,” he told Ben Fordham.

“I have probably 99 per cent of people who like me, the minute you become a politician is gets slashed to 50 per cent!”
