‘Very privileged’: Daniel Anderson grateful for support shown by NRL community
Former NRL coach Daniel Anderson says he’s “very privileged” to receive the support he has as the Rugby League community comes together to celebrate Daniel Anderson Round this weekend.
Anderson suffered a catastrophic spinal cord injury late last year after a body surfing accident and has been in recovery since.
The NRL and 17 clubs are uniting to raise fund for Anderson with a special online auction taking place among many events to support him and Anderson toldĀ The Continuous Call Team he’s been blow away by the support.
“It’s an understatement really,” Anderson said.
“I’m very privileged, very honoured and you get a little embarrassed as well on the way.
“I’m just thankful for the support.”
