Concerns are growing after a 26-year-old died at a Sydney music festival.

A listener from the event sent Ben a text stating:

“I went along on Saturday night and I’m not surprised. Security on entry was a joke. Inside was bloody hot – and only those lucky people with hand fans were able to stay cool inside. Bottles of water were extortionate… charging $5 or more. I don’t think there were enough police on hand. At about 9pm I saw ambulance paramedics rushing someone out.”

Kieran Ngo told staff at Blacktown Hospital he started feeling unwell after taking a pill at the Transmission music festival on Saturday.

Only twelve hours later he passed away.

Police are now looking into whether his death is linked to a bad batch of MDMA.

Ben was also sent a video from inside the event.
