VIDEO | Macquarie National News reporter shoved by angry journo at press conference
Macquarie Media newsreader Tony Tardio has received an apology from a newspaper journalist who aggressively shoved him at yesterday’s Cricket Australia (CA) media conference in Melbourne.
Chief Reporter for The Australian Chip le Grand seemed to take exception to Tony asking questions of CA boss James Sutherland because he thought he was a member of the public.
When Tony confirmed he was a journalist, vision shows le Grand pushing him over.

Tony told 3AW, Macquarie Media’s Melbourne station, he hasn’t heard from le Grand since.
“I would like an apology because this is my workplace as well,” he said.
“What I didn’t like was the sense that I’m not in that little clique of three or four or five journos who seem to be at those media conferences all the time.”
