WATCH | Violent road rage incident stops traffic
Vision has emerged of a violent road rage incident that stopped city traffic.
A tradesman can be seen attacking a taxi driver in the middle of busy traffic at the corner of Market and Clarence streets in Sydney’s CBD shortly after 5.30pm yesterday.
Onlookers tried to break up the fight before the men went their separate ways.
The taxi driver reported the incident to police, with officers later arresting the 36-year-old driver of the van at Mount Druitt Police Station in Sydney’s northwest.
He’s been charged with assault and malicious damage and has been given bail to front local court on Wednesday.
