‘We’re not shutting anything down’: PM promises not a single job will go under net zero plan
Prime Minister Scott Morrison is defending his plan to reach net zero by 2050.
He insisted the plan would not cost jobs and would protect the Australian way of life, especially in rural areas.
The government will invest $20 billion in future technologies to help meet the target.
Scott Morrison told Ben Fordham a carbon tax will “never” be introduced.
“That is never going to be part of our plan.
“We’re not shutting down anything, we’re not gonna stop digging anything up, we’re not gonna stop planting anything.”
