Western Sydney mayor calls out government over ISIS brides’ repatriation
Western Sydney locals are still furious about Anthony Albanese’s decision to settle ISIS brides in their communities.
17 Australian women and children have been released from their secure accommodation and returned back to their families.
Local leaders say they have been left in the dark without proper consultation.
Fairfield City Council Mayor Frank Carbone he has concerns for the residents he represents.
“Western Sydney has always settled refugees, we are a very diverse area, but this is a different situation.
“How do you expect residents to feel when you sneak these people in the middle of the nights into our communities?”
