Sydney’s oldest pub, The Fortune of War is certainly looking forward to the weekend and welcoming back guests into their beloved bar.
NSW Premier Dominic Perrotett announced the easing of COVID restrictions yesterday with clubs set to re-open, density limits cut back and singing and dancing allowed in at hospitality venus it’s set to be a fun-filled weekend.
Fortune of War Publican Stephen Speed has told Jim Wilson, ” It’s been like working in a pressure cooker for the last two years”.
“It’s such a relief.
“From 10 am this morning since we opened up, the pressure has been taken off the staff.”
