Iconic Australian actor Bryan Brown has put pen to paper to release his very own crime fiction.

Sweet Jimmy is a collection of short stories, gaining praise from critics.

Mr Brown told Deborah Knight he wouldn’t describe the book as a novel.

“There’s not a lot of descriptive stuff in mine and there’s not a lot of adjectives even.

“So that lessens how long a book can be … so short stories suit me I think.”
