Australians may have to get the booster dose of the COVID vaccine in order to be ‘fully vaccinated’ and it’s causing quite a stir.

Infectious disease expert at Sydney University Professor Robert Booy has told Jim Wilson, “It’s a really helpful thing to have”.

When asked if foreign visitors should have three jabs to visit Australia Mr Booy replied: “well it makes sense to me”.

“Vistors are coming from a place where we don’t know how much omicron they’ve got.”

Flight Centre CEO Graham Turner also joined Jim Wilson to discuss the topic.

Mr Turner disagrees with the potential ruling saying, “I think it’s ridiculous”.

“If we start putting these kinds of roadblocks in our tourist industry, we will never open up.”

Comparing Australia to other countries and how they are opening up with no restrictions the flight centre CEO told Jim Wilson, “This urging on the edge of stupidity.”

“It’s just another bit of bureaucracy… meaningless bureaucracy.”
