Known as one of the best Halfbacks in the game Ben Hornby had quite the career throughout his NRL tenure.

Hornby captained the St George Illawarra Dragons from 2009 until his retirement in 2012 and led the club to a premiership in 2010.

Ben became the Dragon’s most capped player since the formation of the joint venture club in 1999.

Hornby told the Continuous Call Team, “the side individually in 2005 and 2006 were great sides …. we underachieved in those years.”

The former Halfback credited former coach Wayne Bennet as the greatest coach he’s played under.

“He just tells it how it is.”
