Superstar fullback for the Balmain Tigers, Garry Jack captivated fans and players on the field.

Jack commenced his first-grade career with Western Suburbs Magpies in 1981. The following year he moved to the Balmain Tigers where he played for the rest of his Australian first-grade career.

In the 1984 State of Origin series, Garry Jack made his New South Wales debut and played in all three games of that year’s series. He was thereafter the Blues’ first-choice fullback for the next six years.
