The Jobs and Skills Summit has proven to be a real who’s who of union representatives as it kicks off in Canberra today.

The tight guest list of 142 people will see premiers and MPs brushing shoulders with business executives and union leaders for two days.

Treasurer Jim Chalmers invited an equal number of union and business sector representatives, who, combined, account for half of the guest list.

Liberal leader Peter Dutton, who has chosen not to attend the summit, ran through the extensive list of union members with Ray Hadley.

Peter Dutton: “Ray, I’ve got something special for you this morning.

“Ray, I don’t know if you’re interested in some of the people that are attending the jobs summit with Mr Albanese.

“I’m happy to run through a couple if you want.”

Ray Hadley: “Just let me get my pen out, okay? You go, I’ll write.”
