Football commentator Lucy Zelic has reacted to the departure of Tony Gustavsson as Matildas head coach after the team’s disappointing campaign at the Olympics.

Zelic was very critical of Gustavsson’s approach to the game against USA, and called for his sacking earlier today on The Olympics Today podcast.

“They didn’t break up mutually, someone initiated it, and I think Football Australia had every right to initiate this process in this instance,” Zelic told Mark Levy on Wide World of Sports.
