Michael McLaren has weighed in on the New South Wales Productivity Commission’s proposal to slash the solar access requirement in new apartment buildings as the state faces an increasingly dire housing crisis.
He points out to prioritise the quick building of homes to address an immediate supply crisis is short-sighted.
“If anything, this story just reinforces my concerns about what the built future of this city will look like,” he says.
