Sydney Sixers captain Moises Henriques has spoken out about the reasons he suspects he wasn’t selected for the Ashes Test series.

Henriques admitted to Mark Levy he hasn’t had any “real feedback” from the selectors, but suspects a lack of recent experience and his age were factors.

“They mentioned a little bit about timing … but there were plenty of other cricketers in the same boat as me as well where they hadn’t played any red ball cricket, but are still in that squad.

“It doesn’t really matter to me: to be completely honest, the only thing I can do is go out and try and score some more runs, and do as well as I can.”
