Producer David Venn believes the hype around the latest movie on Elvis Presley starring Austin Butler was a catalyst for the reason why a musical will also rock Australia.

Elvis: A Musical Revolution is set to tour Australia in 2023 and will open at Sydney’s State Theatre from July 2023, before rocking into Melbourne’s Athenaeum Theatre from September 2023.

The production will bring to life the phenomenal capability and talent and explore pivotal moments in Elvis’ life from his childhood in Tupelo, Mississippi through to his triumphant ‘68 Comeback Special.

David Venn told Deborah Knight the buzz of Elvis continues to live on despite the years passing by.

“The community just can’t get enough of the King of Rock N Roll.”
