Why some NSW Councils are raising their rates
The Mayor of Hornsby Phillip Ruddock and the Mayor of Tenterfield Brownyn Petrie spoke with Chris O’Keefe on why councils are raising their rates.
“We’re now at the point where we can’t effectively do it any longer and we need to budget prudently and we don’t want to go into debt,” the Mayor of Hornsby said.
Chris also spoke with Bronwyn Petrie on why they’ve applied the independent tribunal for 86 per cent.
