The recent sale of a numberplate for $2m has sent 2GB Drive listeners into a frenzy!

The New South Wales number plate “28” sold for more than TWO million dollars at a Shannons Auction in Sydney last week.

The original “28” rego is more than 100 years old and the lower the number, the more prestigious for collectors.

Number plate collector Craig Jeffriess told Jim Wilson the collection and love for number plates urges people to purchase.
