Woman chased and beaten with a bat in Sydney’s west
A man has been charged after a woman was chased through the streets and beaten with a bat in western Sydney.
On the evening of Monday 22 last month, a 38-year-old woman and a man of the same age were walking down St Paul’s Place in Chester Hill when a car pulled up with four people inside.
The 38-year-old woman was chased by a man and a woman carrying a baseball bat.
She was allegedly hit multiple times with the bat and kicked by the man and three women who were inside the car.
Police say she was also stabbed and had a deep wound to her ribcage and suffered liver damage.
A 35-year-old man has been charged with reckless wounding in company and was refused bail.
Police are searching for the three women.
