Woman pushed and robbed while visiting her son’s grave
A woman has been pushed and robbed while visiting her son’s grave at a cemetery in Sydney’s north-west.
The 52-year-old was visiting Riverstone Cemetery yesterday afternoon when she was approached by a man.
He allegedly snatched the woman’s handbag from her car before pushing her during a short struggle.
The thief fled the scene in a red hatchback car and has been described as about 30 to 35 years old, with a medium build and wearing a grey hat and khaki pants.
Police believe this was an opportunistic crime and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the robbery to come forward.
