Worst drink driving areas revealed
The Central Coast has been revealed as the worst spot for drink driving with more than a thousand people fined last year.
The second worst area was Blacktown with over 700 people found drink driving.
But the Central Coast has more than double the amount of high range drink drivers with about 200 people caught last year alone, compared to Blacktown’s 98.
NSW Police Assistant Commissioner Michael Corboy tells Ben Fordham the lack of public transport is not an excuse.
“If there is no public transport you really should make alternative arrangements.
“We have people in the country, in other regional areas, that actually do the right thing.”
