‘Writing was his life’: Bryce Courtenay memoir celebrates author’s career
To mark the 10th anniversary of celebrated writer Bryce Courtenay’s death, his widow and fellow author has written his memoir.
The well known author is best known for his most successful novel, 1989’s The Power of One, which went on to sell more than eight million copies around the world.
Christine Courtenay told Deborah Knight there were five more books Bryce was hoping to write before passing away.
“He loved writing, and because he started writing so late in life, he was a man in a hurry.
“Bryce had been telling stories since he was a small child, it was in his DNA.”
